Built in 1905, the Opera House became the heart of the community's need for entertainment and education.

In its first full year, 1906, the Opera House hosted thirty-one performances.

In 1920, it became the firehouse; by the 1960's, it was a storehouse.

The Opera House was deeded to Dunham Historical Society and restoration began in the 1980's.

In 2002, an addition in honor of Kyle (Fagerhaug) Evans was completed.
